Matttieu is a self-taught artist based in Paris.
He draws faces and animals since his childhood and goes in the streets of Paris since 2015. His principle is to appropriate the coffee slates, the walls, the wooden panels, or the concrete of the subway .
His approach is without special preparation, which allows him to adapt to the media he meets on his way. His faces adopt a neutral posture, turned towards the passers-by, inviting them to take a step back on their daily life. Her ostriches, more playful, try to brighten the lives of those they meet. He uses chalk to create his works, which gives an ephemeral side to his creations.
