Portuguese pioneer of street art and political actor in the current Parisian scene, A.L. Tony put his first street works on the walls of Paris in 1988.
In the pure tradition of original Parisian graffiti, he creates stencil images using a single matrix ideally designed to obtain what he desires.
His technical mastery allows him to give astonishing depth to a two-dimensional image using a single color. Black, which he uses on a white support, or, to vary the pleasures, white, which he uses on a black background.
Drawing inspiration from photographs, he now creates large portraits of singular beauty. They embody singers and musicians from the international scene to remind us that, without music, life would have no meaning.
