Ariane Pasco co-founded the Nice Art collective in 1986, made up of four students from Nice and who found themselves in Paris. They take over the walls of the capital with stencils, then are expanding their playing field in the provinces and in Germany. At the end of the 80s, the group reduced to two. She is one of the rare women stencil artists at the origin of the stencil movement. Still active on the walls, Nice Art explores the possibilities of the stencil technique by favoring
degraded supports and recycled materials, boards, fences, street furniture, vinyls. Nice Art remains faithful to the spontaneous and urban side of Street Art, playing and improvising with the walls. Their
favorite themes? Their icons, literary, musical, artistic, the animals they slide
in the city, as a nod to nature.
