Nebay entered the rich world of graffiti at the age of thirteen at the start of the craze for this new artistic discipline. Entirely self-taught, Nebay began with tag and then progressed to lettering and calligraphy. In 1987, he became a member of the JCT collective (Je Cours Facile!) within which he perfected his techniques. In 2002, he made an initiatory journey through Eastern Europe and Asia. For three months and in the heart of winter, he crossed Russia, Mongolia, China, Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. Such an experience allowed him to put into perspective his inner questions which would have a lasting influence on his work.
