Angelina Lavernia was born in Barcelona in 1925 and studied at the Tarrega Academy's School of Fine Arts. She expresses his subjects in a very personal and intimate manner through completely figurative paintings, that are charmingly unreal. His first exhibition was in 1962 and since then his work has earned him numerous awards and critical acclaim.
