/// Biography of Alexis Raoult ///
Alexis Raoult was born in the Paris region in 1993. He had a chaotic life, and went through the "Orphelins d'Auteuil". He is taught electricity. He spends his time drawing in his notebooks. At 18, he left everything and moved to Brittany. He then worked odd jobs, always scribbling in notebooks. In 2012, he decided to devote himself to drawing. He then speaks of a “chain of emotions”. His drawings allow him to express himself, assert himself, talk about what touches him. His work is tedious and meticulous. His very realistic drawings, only in pencil, give pride of place to emotion. Animals are his favorite subject. He very accurately transcribes their look, their attitudes, which challenge people, and thus creates a proximity between man and animal. Very quickly, his talent was recognized. He exhibits in France and internationally, wins several prestigious awards and is one of the youngest artists to be purchased by a National Museum. Some of his drawings represent more than 500 hours of work. In 2023, he became sponsor of the Foujita Foundation.
