Serge Lassus was born in Hendaye on May 7, 1933. Entered the Applied Arts in Paris, he was received fourth out of 800 candidates. In 1955, he was chosen to illustrate the visitors' book of the city of Paris. He already creates gouaches and paintings in his spare time, the Basque Coast inspires him. He lives in his property in Bordeaux until 1995 then leaves to live in Spain, in the sun. He now lives in Le Cannet. Having devoted his whole life to painting, he has exhibited throughout France and many times abroad: Tokyo, New York, Osaka, Los Angeles, Kobe, Art Expo NY, Nagoya, Madrid, Tias in Tokyo, Alicante, Oslo, Stuttgart
