Jean-charles decoudun was born in Paris in 1962, grandson of the painter and illustrator Jean-Paul Decoudun, he will not listen to anybody's advice and therefore will not attend any school. His first exhibitions took place at the Frossard workshop, in the village of Batignolles in Paris in 1994. He exhibited all over France, and in 1997, begins to exhibit to Galerie Roussard, at the top of the Butte Montmartre.
