Pure Evil was born in 1968 in Wales. Direct descendant of the philosopher Thomas More (inventor of the concept of Utopia).
Despite a childhood bathed in an artistic universe (son of an expressionist painter), he admits "having spent a lot of time avoiding becoming an artist". He studied fashion and computer graphics in London. He moved to California where he worked for a clothing brand and was a DJ before being deported. He tagged “MURDERERS” on the armories and “DUMP BUSH” on the highways. "I like that in my work you have to scratch the surface to find darkness." The images in Pure Evil have a very strong symbolism, with a lot of interlocking meanings. Pure Evil sees the artist as an engaged and critical person in society. He likes to pass messages. He claims to be and remains a graffiti artist; for him, it is very important to be in the act.
