Chanoir, Franco-Colombian artist, was born in 1976. He lives and works in Paris. In 1996, he re-entered the Parisian post-graffiti culture, creating his alter ego Chanoir. He then invents the systematic metamorphosis of his logo. He studied at the Beaux Arts in Paris with Jean-Michel Alberola. In 2002 his diploma in his pocket, he explored the pictorial adaptations for children of European literature through America and Japan. It stages the different mythologies of cartoons from a globalized culture. He participated in "Humor in art" then assisted François Boirond for the exhibition "Beauty" in Avignon. He directed the documentary "Murs Libres" around the Barcelona street art scene. Chanoir worked in collaboration with Clippers, reinventing the famous lighters, with Samsung for the realization of a digital work, and Disney store for which he decorated the windows of the Concept store on the Champs Elysées. He also signs several collections in collaboration with the Cacharel brand and decorates all of the house's offices (in 2012). One of his frescoes designed for the occasion is found in the clip for the famous rock group Pixies, filmed in Miami (2014). He puts his paw on the perfume bottles of Emanuel Ungaro (2019), which is launched worldwide. Some works by Chanoir have entered the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in Bogota (MAMBO).
